I was reading Anna Sacones blog and I stumbled across her tealight tabletops for her wedding she is planning. I just love how tealights can create such a romanticism atmosphere around the place. They are beautiful and make everything seem such a fairytale!

West is west...

I would love to see the film West is West when it comes out. I had never watched East it East until this week and I found it quite amusing! How the film shows a Muslim family in such a 'stereotypical' light!  Never the less...Im still intrigued to see what they do with West is West. Im always interested to see how these films perceive the asian community.  If any of you have seen it feel free to leave a comment below and let me know how you found it. True Friendship never dies...

What a week!....had a lovely time with my old bestie this week, meeting her made me realise that true friendship never dies. You can have as many fall outs as possible...but time really does tell all. Although were not in each others lives as much as we used to be I still love her to bits and she is definitely a friend I wont forget. I just wanted her to know that....lots of love to Miss Frappachayno! This ones for you my lovely :)

Its not a sprint its a marathon...

Sometimes in life..decisions need making. I found myself prioritizing today when I was asked to help film a video to go to Michael Gove for uni.

Would have loved to have been able to take the chance, but I had my uni work to do and work and it also would have meant travelling in by public transport...which takes aaages! I know youre probably going to say, why dont you learn to drive then?

Well if you havent noticed already it wasnt one of my resolutions this year, reason being it has been on my list every year and I have never done it. But now im rapidly seeing the importance in doing it. So yes- going to try my very best to get this done at some point this year!

So I had to choose... whether to rush my uni work and go film or take my time and do my uni work.

Unfortunately I chose the boring safe option. I guess sometimes in life you have to prioritize and do whats best in the long run I hate it when you ask someone for advice and all they say is...you do whats best for you! My dad always says; "its not a sprint its a marathon". Doing things which will help you in the long run will always get you further in life. Yes words of wisdom from my dad! And now that I can slowly see the light at the end of the tunnel..it is making me work  harder than ever.

Any dream will do...

So it turned out the surprise was a trip to the theater to watch Joseph and his technicolour dream coat..the Andrew Lloyd Webber production..and it was truly magical! It was such a lovely thought my mother had planned for me....and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It had the runner up from the television programme 'any dream will do' in; Keith Jack.

Loving this programme right now...watching it on you tube weekly...all the things a girl would ask for in a guy! I know your thinking its blonde and bimbo...ish.....but I like it! Enjoy!!!

I am who I am...

One thing I have learnt in life...is that you will never be happy if you are always trying to be someone else. Being yourself...will certainly make you very happy. The truth is; you just have to learn to love yourself. My most favourite tv show one tree hill has inspired me. I adorn the beautiful Sophia Bush and how she doesn't care what people think of her. She stands for real beautiful woman in the world.

All I seem to do at the moment is listen to this amazing guys songs...it is the one and only Bruno Mars.His innovative ways of both singing and video making are just genius! Every girls gotta love how he empowers woman and beauty.

Hairstyles for spring/summer...

Blake lively's beach waves with random plaits- is fresh and a good look for spring.

Loose waves with a couple of clips to add detail.

The half up half down Bardot look has to be one of my faves- lots of back combing but smoothing out too!

Center part with two pieces of hair twisted to either side.

Simply flip hair upside down into a high pony- plait- then twist into a bun- secure with hair grips. Pull pieces out from the hair to make it look 'not so put together'.
