Love is blind- I disagree.

They say love is blind. I disagree. Infatuation is blind, love is all-seeing and accepting.

Love is seeing all the flaws and blemishes in someone yet still accepting them, love is accepting the bad habits, the mannerisms and working around them. Love is recognising the fears and insecurities of one and comforting the other person. Love is working through all the challenging and painful episodes in life. Love is a strong substance and should only strengthen, because love is real.

I haven't done a fashion based blogpost in a while. I've been getting wayyyy too philosophical and deep. So for those of you who have followed me from the start, here is the more original me. More of these kinds of posts  to come... :)

These are the things I have been lusting over lately. Fashion wise!

 I'm obsessed over rose gold.  I think it compliments darker skin. It is sooo pretty.

I just love this chunky wrap. Looks like it will keep you warm but at the same time it is a timeless piece. 

Gratitude

I guess this is it. I have realised what can give you the self-fulfilment.....gratitude. It's easy in life to forget about the good you have and be thankful for the life and opportunities you have been presented with. This is it gratitude. Be thankful. Another one to add to my list of resolutions!

Direction

Something in my life has got to change. I'm beginning to feel a little down. Surely mental health is only determined by outlook and perception. So my New Years resolution isn't going very well then. PMA positive mental attitude. That's one thing I lack in my life. But how is it that with whatever choice you make there is still no pleasing. So you know that by choosing plan A it won't make them happy. So instead you revert to plan B which is to continue with the way you were before, then you slowly start to realise that this is not it. That self fulfillment you'd hoped for just isn't quite there. You keep with plan B because it makes others happier, but the more you stay there in that unhappiness you and they both realise that no one is happy. So in which place do you win? Neither. That's the problem. The way I look at hapiness is that it's a temporary measure which cannot be sustained. It's not a destination, although one sometimes mistakenly perceives it as that. Loose, loose. How to come up from this and be positive....any ideas?

Timing...

In life in order to get somewhere you need to leave something behind. But its best to leave those things at the right time or you'll be left with too many regrets.

New year

Wednesday 1st of January 2014.

A new year and hopefully the start of something new and exciting. A goal I want to accomplish and achieve. A new year can be anyone's opportunity for a fresh start a new beginning. Last year was an emotional roller coaster both in good ways and not so good. I'm ready to take this year on. My challenge to achieve what I want and who I want to be.

Optimism is key. It is the driver that helps one to become successful and achieve anything.

So go out there no margins, no limitations expect that you can achieve anything. After all anything is possible.
