Paradise is always over there and always will be, a day’s sail away. But it’s a funny thing is, escapism, wanderlust. You can go far and wide and you can keep moving on and on through places and years, but you will never escape your own life. I, finally, knew where my life belonged. Home.

Got the job!

Iv been meaning to post on here for a very long time now. On Tuesday the 6th May it was revealed to me that I had managed to secure a teaching post in Lytham. I'm so happy and excited and can't wait because its right near the beach! Hoping to start running more. No excuses when there are many scenic routes I could take.  This is going to be life changing and I cannot wait to begin a new chapter of my life!

Ahhhh 24!!!!

Wow- where is time going? It really is strange and scary to think of how fast the years are flying by!

24- doesn't sound young anymore- just mature :/

London baby! Part 1

An experience of different cultures, neighbourhoods, food and people. I just love the street culture here and how no two people are like. The individuality and ability to express yourself freely without being judged seems appealing. There are some very stylish young people in the city..I guess they have to keep up. I love seeing concoctions of different ethnicities all mashed together, it shows how it is possible to unite. After all we are all human!

So far I have seen sheppards bush- a market for locals, full of Arab people and yummy falafel/ my favourite Arab food! Westfield shopping centre- this is nothing out of the ordinary as you can imagine just your standard shops. Piccadilly Circus- Iv always wanted to have a photo here infront of the TDK screen...so I did! Covent garden-one of my most favourite fail safe places, the perfect mix of markets, shops and street performers. Last of all..a visit to London would not be complete without going to the theatre. So I decided to treat my brother and self to The Lion King. This was my second time seeing it and it just did not fail to amaze me!

I'm hoping to go on a few more adventures today. Will keep you posted. :)

Interview!!

Ahhhh I secured a teaching interview! This is mental! Those emotions that ran through me two years ago have come back again. I have been asked to prepare for a lesson observation a group task and the final interview, lots of careful planning and preparation on the cards this holiday I think! Eeeek!

People change

You are the company you keep- why do people not get that? It frustrates me and saddens me when people don't realise how much they have changed to be like someone else when it is not in a positive way.
